Join us for the excitement, as the Conservatory’s finest perform in this concerto competition that occurs each spring and is judged by three professional musicians from outside Baldwin Wallace University. The goal of the competition is to encourage outstanding student performance in the Conservatory through public performance with the BW Symphony Orchestra or BW Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Up to one winner may be chosen for performances with each of these ensembles annually. A monetary award is associated with the prize as well.
As recommended by CDC guidelines, face masks (N95/KN95 recommended) are required to be worn indoors at BW by all individuals regardless of vaccination status.
If you are unable to log in simultaneously to the live performance, the recording typically remains available throughout the remainder of the day, so you will be able to enjoy the program that evening as well.
