Dr. Rainsong is on the music theory faculty at the Cleveland Institute of Music and is currently an Affiliate Faculty member at Baldwin Wallace, working on a grant on bird and insect song with the biology department. She is a professional naturalist who specializes in the music of Earth’s first musicians: bird song, insect song, and the songs of amphibians.
