The 2022 Arts Innovation Summit is presented in partnership by BW Arts Management & Entrepreneurship Program, BW LaunchNET and Cuyahoga Arts & Culture and will focus on the intersection of artists, arts organizations and arts funders and the innovation that can happen when they collaborate to create opportunity. The Urgent Art Fund, a program administered by SPACES Gallery and funded by Cuyahoga Arts & Culture, will be highlighted. Tizziana Baldenebro, executive director of SPACES Gallery, will be the keynote speaker with introductory comments from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture Executive Director Jill Paulsen. The Summit will also include a live performance by and talkback with music ensemble Mourning [A] BLKstar, a multi-generational, gender and genre non-conforming amalgam of Black Culture dedicated to servicing the stories and songs of the apocalyptic diaspora.
Free but tickets required; live stream available.
If you are unable to log in simultaneously to the live performance, the recording typically remains available throughout the remainder of the day, so you will be able to enjoy the program that evening as well.
